Most Disliked
Despite its many strengths, Filis Cafe does face some occasional criticism. Some patrons note the limited dinner options, as lunch remains significantly busier and more popular. The cozy size of the cafe can mean it fills up quickly, especially during peak hours, leading to longer wait times. Additionally, while many enjoy the casual vibe, others may prefer a more upscale dining experience. A few customers have mentioned that certain dishes may lack that extra kick of flavor, like salsa being too mild for more adventurous tastes.

Very quaint little dining area, good service, always friendly. Food is very very good and portions are plentiful. Price is reasonable especially for the amount of food that you get. Very good variety of food options on their breakfast menu. It is our favorite spot for breakfast on break at work.

OMG! What a great place! It's small but so cozy! We were out of town looking for a local breakfast place and found this gem. They have a huge selection of skillets & omelets which they're huge! The medium over easy eggs & waffles were made to perfection and even though they were in a skillet, the hash browns were still crunchy. The home made salsa was excellent. Yum! The owner was friendly and took time to explain the menu items and the wait staff made sure our coffee was never empty. What a wonderful local place to eat! Thank you Filis for a GREAT experience!

I came here with my mom to have brunch, I ordered the country fried steak with 2 over-medium eggs and toast. The fried steak was thin just the way it should be for the meal, the gravy was pretty good. Service was good

My sister and I were looking for a place to have lunch after taking a walk by Sheridan Park. We were driving on Packard Ave and saw this cute little Cafe, the menu looked good online. So we went to check it out with our little ones. We ate outside on the back patio, our waitress who I'm assuming is also the cook Maria was very sweet and made sure we were happy. The food was very good too, my sister and I had the Caesar wrap with their chicken dumpling soup and fruit. My daughter had the chicken strips with fries. She thought they were delicious. I tried them myself and l think they are pretty good as well. Cute simple place and with good food, we'll be going there again for lunch date very soon. 😁👍🏻

We aren't from the area and wanted to experience a local restaurant. We hit the jackpot! Warm and friendly atmosphere. The food is so flavorful with generous portions, cooked to perfection. Tasty red and green chili sauces too.
